Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Washington (WA) Occupational Therapist license
- Possess the Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Prior experience in school settings or working with K22-year-old students is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and administrators
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments to identify students needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Developing and executing individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services in a school setting
- Keeping detailed records and preparing progress reports
- Educating staff and families on strategies to support students advancement in and out of the classroom
- Participating in IEP meetings and offering expertise to shape student support plans
