Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid Washington (WA) Occupational Therapist license
• Possess the Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
• Prior experience in school settings or working with K22-year-old students is highly valued
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and administrators
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments to identify students needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Developing and executing individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services in a school setting
• Keeping detailed records and preparing progress reports
• Educating staff and families on strategies to support students advancement in and out of the classroom
• Participating in IEP meetings and offering expertise to shape student support plans
