Embark on an engaging opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting a young student during Extended School Year services, with the possibility for the role to continue into the following school year. This contract position focuses on personalized, 1:1 sessions for an elementary-age student residing at a residential hospital near Hampstead, NH. The role offers the chance to truly make a difference, working closely with both educational and hospital personnel.

What you'll bring:

• Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license
• Experience in school-based OT services, preferably working with elementary-age students
• Ability to adapt session plans for students new to therapy
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with hospital staff and educational teams
• Flexibility, professionalism, and a student-centered approach
• Availability on Mondays and Fridays, within the hours of 8:15am to between 2:30 and 3:00pm
• Commitment to following all ethical and legal guidelines for delivery of therapy in school and healthcare settings

What you'll do:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy sessions in a hospital environment
• Gradually introduce and build up the students therapy program
• Set session times in collaboration with hospital staff and according to student needs
• Track progress and communicate updates to appropriate educational and healthcare professionals
• Provide documentation and participate in any required meetings for student planning
