Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Located near Joliet, IL, this position offers you the chance to collaborate with diverse learners and make a meaningful impact each day. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 24, 2027, for a total of 22.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Illinois
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with IEPs, assessments, and goal writing for K-12 students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of students across various age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through high school
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized goals in collaboration with IEP teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Document services provided and progress toward IEP goals in accordance with school policies
• Maintain ongoing communication with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
• Contribute actively to multidisciplinary meetings and problem-solving teams
