Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Occupational Therapy license valid in the state of Florida
• Previous experience working as an OT in a school or pediatric setting is preferred

• Enthusiasm for making a difference in students’ academic and social participation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans to address challenges with fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional school-based activities
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to foster a supportive learning environment
• Document progress and update goals according to IEP requirements and school policies
• Provide direct intervention sessions in alignment with students' IEPs, ensuring therapy is engaging and functional for the educational setting
• Offer recommendations for adaptations or modifications to the learning environment as needed
