Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license in Kentucky
• Previous experience providing OT services in educational settings
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for school-aged children
• Organizational skills to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for assigned students
• Develop and implement individualized OT interventions that support student participation and performance in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers and other multidisciplinary team members to adapt classroom environments and provide strategies for student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including session notes and progress reports
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support whole-student needs
• Educate families and school staff on therapy goals and strategies, ensuring carryover of skills
