This position involves working with K-8 students for 12 hours weekly, spread over 23 days. Youll collaborate with educators and families to help students access their educational environment and achieve greater independence.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Occupational Therapy license
• Valid Ohio school certification for OT practice
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to assess and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students needs related to motor skills and sensory processing
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that address each students IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support student progress
• Provide direct and consultative OT services within the school setting
• Monitor and document student outcomes and compliance with therapy plans
• Educate and coach school staff and families to extend therapeutic benefits beyond direct sessions
