Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in schools or healthcare, ideally with pediatric populations
- Skillful communicator with collaborative approach to care
- Comfortable working on-site and adapting to changing needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services and evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop IEP goals
- Document progress and contribute to assessments, reports, and parental communications
- Provide support and recommendations for classroom modifications and accommodations
