Make a positive impact in the lives of K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school-based setting near Beaverton, OR. This part-time, onsite contract opportunity enables you to help children achieve their fullest potential by delivering expert therapeutic support within an educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Occupational Therapist license
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and related service professionals
- Adaptability to work across a range of developmental ages (K-12)
- Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practice
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop IEP goals, and contribute recommendations for accommodations
- Implement tailored interventions to foster students participation in academic and social activities
- Document progress, maintain compliance with IDEA requirements, and participate in IEP meetings
- Partner with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize functional outcomes for all students
