Job description
Take your Occupational Therapy expertise on the road and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students throughout the Oroville area. This rewarding, full-time, in-person contract runs the entire school year from August 10 to May 28, 2027, engaging you in a dynamic educational environment and allowing you to travel between multiple school siteswith all mileage reimbursed.
Youll contribute your OT knowledge to support students unique physical, sensory, and motor needs, providing them with the tools to succeed educationally and beyond. The position is open to travel professionals who thrive on variety, collaboration, and driving positive change. Although your primary focus will be in the Oroville area, occasional assignments in Paradise may also be included.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or ability to obtain before the start date)
- Previous school-based OT experience highly valued
- Proficiency in developing IEP goals, conducting assessments, and implementing direct therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students K-12
- Conduct evaluations and design individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapeutic activities into the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and parent conferences

Compensation for this position ranges from $38.00 to $70.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
