What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence and safety
- Provide interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, cognition, balance, and adaptive equipment
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on functional strategies for success
- Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, OTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and case management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning to maximize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Michigan Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility for licensure
- Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
