Position Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in helping patients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Providing skilled occupational therapy services to improve function and independence
- Addressing activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety awareness, and adaptive equipment needs
- Collaborating with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and family members
- Maintaining accurate documentation, billing, and discharge planning
- Educating patients, caregivers, and staff to support positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
