Job description

Occupational Therapist (2026-2027 School Year)
Location: Burlington, IL
Grade Level: PreK–High School (must be open to all age ranges; placement determined closer to start of school year)
Start Date: August 10, 2026 (Orientation: August 3–4, 2026)
End Date: May 24, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | 35 hours/week (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Salary Range: $58,000–$75,000 annually

About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of student populations, with final school placement determined closer to the start of the school year. You’ll join a supportive and collaborative environment with strong resources to help you succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students across a range of grade levels (PreK–High School)
  • Support student development through individualized therapy plans
  • Work with both resource and some self-contained classrooms
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

Caseload Details

  • Mixed caseload including resource and some self-contained students
  • Must be open to working with all age groups (PreK–High School)
  • Final school assignment determined closer to the start of the school year

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapy License (IDFPR)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
