Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, supporting students and the lead Occupational Therapist in a welcoming school environment near Phoenix, AZ. This onsite position begins in November and extends through May 14th, offering steady hours each week and the chance to make a positive impact during consecutive maternity leaves.

Youll work closely with both students and staff, contributing to IEP meetings and engaging in diverse therapy sessions that foster student progress. The role requires flexibility to attend meetings before and after school as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
• Experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric caseloads is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adept at collaborating with supervising OTs, teachers, and other school professionals
• Availability for required meetings outside regular student hours

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services under the supervision of an OT to support student goals
• Carry out intervention plans focused on students developmental needs
• Document progress and maintain timely records in compliance with state and school standards
• Participate in meetings, consult with staff and families, and adapt strategies as directed
• Support caseload continuity throughout the duration of consecutive OT maternity leaves
