Location: Shelbina, MO
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Join Our Therapy Team!
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Shelbina, Missouri. This is a great opportunity for an OTA looking for either a full-time or part-time position with a supportive clinical team and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.
What You'll Do
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in improving independence with activities of daily living
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other healthcare professionals
- Build positive relationships with patients, families, and facility staff
What We're Looking For
- Current Missouri COTA/OTA license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- NBCOT certification preferred/required as applicable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach
