Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active COTA certification and eligibility to practice in Maryland
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and school therapy models
• Collaborative spirit and passion for working with students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy support to students according to their individual education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with supervising occupational therapists and broader educational teams to optimize care and support
• Travel between assigned school sites within the district as required
• Maintain accurate records, complete IEP documentation, and participate in related meetings
• Utilize available training and resources to stay current with district procedures and therapy techniques
• Adhere to all administrative and district requirements, including attending team meetings and complying with fingerprinting protocols
