This opportunity spans multiple school sites, where you’ll play a vital role by collaborating with educators and therapists to provide direct services to students during a leave coverage from August 24th to November 20th.

The assignment involves working across several elementary, middle, and high school settings. You will have the autonomy to build your own weekly schedule—with initial guidance—to ensure all caseload students receive consistent support. Your caseload will be approximately 32 students, totaling about 800 direct service minutes each week. This full-time, contract position offers roughly 7.5-hour days (approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM).

Qualifications:

• Current COTA license valid in Missouri
• Experience in school settings preferred—COTA with emphasis on pediatric/school-based practice
• Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage caseload across multiple sites
• Effective communication for documenting progress and collaborating with school staff and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive environment for students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by supervising OTs
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Maintain detailed documentation and records to comply with school and state guidelines
• Communicate progress and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Flexibly manage time and travel between assigned schools to serve all students on your caseload each week
