This part-time contract position offers a manageable caseload of approximately 20 students, allowing you to make a significant impact through focused, individualized care.

As a valued contributor, you’ll collaborate with educational and healthcare professionals to help students meet their therapeutic and academic goals. Your expertise will be essential in promoting student independence, improving functional skills, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Valid COTA certification and licensure in North Carolina
  • Experience working in school or pediatric settings, with a strong understanding of the needs of children and adolescents
  • Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Dedication to collaboration within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an OTR/L
  • Assist students in developing and refining functional daily living and academic skills
