Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist and physician

  • Assist residents in improving functional abilities and independence with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation, including daily notes and progress reports

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress, goals, and discharge planning

  • Educate residents, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic techniques and safety strategies

  • Train restorative aides and provide support to nursing staff as needed

  • Foster positive relationships with residents and families while advocating for their rehabilitation goals
